Prepare to be confident

When you do something for the very first time, it's normal to feel a little nervous. It doesn't matter if what you're doing is a long held dream, something that others have done before you or something that a given situation necessitates. It's normal to lack confidence when you use a computer for the first time, when you tell a friend how you feel when she chronically arrives late, or when you change careers, places of residences or anything else about yourself. It's the ability to do something although we may feel some uneasiness about it that actually helps us to build confidence. If you always let fear stop you, you'll never do the things that will make you feel good about yourself and you abilities.

Repeating an affirmation over and over is a useful techniques to help you develop more confidence. Since the mind can only focus on one thing at a time, by choosing to repeat an affirmation, you're deciding where your mind will focus. Here's an affirmation that Louise L. Hay suggests that you use whenever there is a problem. I'd suggest that you use it whenever you lack confidence about a situation. It will work miracles in your life.

"All is well.  Everything is working out for my highest good. Out of this situation only good will come. I am safe!"

By saying this affirmation, you'll change your vibrational level from negative (fear and worry) to positive (hopeful and optimistic). You'll increase your self confidence so you take the actions necessary to improve the quality of your life.

In addition, by saying a positive affirmation like the one above instead of having doubts and fears running around unchecked in your mind, the Law of Attraction will work for you instead of against you. What you focus on with intention and feeling increases so you'll be able to see and to manifest more positive things in your life when you consciously use an affirmation that you've chosen before you actually need to use it. By being prepared, you'll be able to shift your point of view and will create a brighter future. .
