Who am I becoming?

Who am I? As I prepared marketing material for an upcoming online Women's Success Group that I'm offering in January, I asked myself that question and, after giving it much thought, I came up with my own, very personal, definition of who I am today. Then I took it a step further and asked myself a follow-up question: Who do I want to become? It’s partly where I am now in my life and partly where I hope to go from here.

I’m sharing my description of where my life is headed in the hope that you’ll take the time to really decide who you are and what you want your life to be about. I also hope that you read your definition of your "future self" whenever you’re in doubt about what decision to make or about your importance in the scheme of things. I know I have found my self-description very useful under those exact circumstances.

Each person’s self-definition will be different as we are all unique and no description is better than another’s. Each of us has a unique role to play in the evolution of the planet. Nobody can fulfill your role for you and, if you don't do your part, the process wouldn't be complete.

After you’ve written your "stretch goal" defining who you are becoming personal, share it with somebody - it becomes more real that way and you and your friend can both focus on manifesting that reality. If it feels right for you, please share your self-definition with me because I’m willing to hold your dream in my heart to help it become a reality. I am willing to affirm who you truly are and what you hope to become.

Here’s my self-definition:

I’m a divine soul who’s housed in a healthy body through which I experience all of life with love,  joy and ease. I willingly release all negative behaviors and thoughts and focus my attention fully in the present moment. I embrace new opportunities to experience love, joy, peace, prosperity, health and contentment. My body, mind, spirit and emotions are in perfect balance.

As I learn, I share my experiences with others - assisting them in claiming their power and realizing the perfection within them. As I see them take risks and become more loving and less judgmental, I am encouraged to reveal my authentic-self in all my actions and in my internal and external conversations because that’s the truest part of me. It’s the love that resides within me. As I help others to give and receive love, I expand my own understanding of love. I am most fully alive when I listen to that voice that comes from the center of my heart for it's then that I remember that I’m filled with an endless supply of love and act accordingly. I am as loving, accepting and nurturing of myself as I am of others. Love becomes a reality only through its expression and I’m here to be a living expression of love.

Now it’s your turn. Who are YOU becoming?
